In cooperation with the BCAv, Cannabis Kompetenz Tage, and Research Gardens, CB Expo invites all cannabis cultivation associations to attend CB Expo and the conference with 2 free tickets per association, with a special focus on the “Cultivation Association Special Programme” on Thursday, 17 September.

How it works:
1. Cultivation associations register on the ticket platform and submit their licence or articles of association as proof of eligibility.
2. Once the eligibility documents have been verified, the association will receive a code for 2 free tickets.

Numerous CBD companies and brands appeared on the market, and there was already talk of a billion-dollar market that would establish a long-term global presence. Then the European Commission decided to add foods and dietary supplements containing CBD to the list of novel foods. Since then, 19 applications for approval as novel foods have been pending with the EU. In February 2026, the EFSA classified a daily intake of 2 mg of CBD as safe, with an uncertainty factor of 400. Will the industry seize this opportunity and submit applications for approval as a novel food under these conditions? What products can actually be developed with this? And how should the next steps and timeline be estimated? The panel will discuss these questions and more with European experts, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders.

Nicht unbedingt ist ein geschlossenes System die beste Variante für das mitteleuropäische Klima. Der Outdoor-Anbau wird maßgeblich unterschätzt.
